A Chronological Summary

1985: Lake Plains Family YMCA was founded in the historic Medina Armory building.

2009:  Lake Plains Family YMCA was renamed the Orleans County YMCA.

2010:  The Genesee/Wyoming YMCA changes the corporation name to the GLOW YMCA, Inc., to include the addition of the Orleans County YMCA in Medina and services offered in Livingston County.
