INTRO TO GROUP EX If you are just starting out or want to know more about the YMCA's group exercise classes check our our Intro to Group Ex class. Patient and caring instructors will take the time to work individually with each class participant to ensure success when taking part in a standard group ex class.
FAMILY FITNESS This class allows parents and children the opportunity to work out together in a fun filled setting. Relay races, contests and dancing make this class one you should not miss.
AGELESS FITNESS Whether you are just starting out, returning to exercise, or a recycled teenager (50 !) this is the class for you! This low impact class will get your heart pumping, blood flowing & your muscles toned.
PILATES A series of exercises performed in specific sequence, designed to help individuals strengthen and stretch their bodies, regain correct movement and posture and increase mind-body awareness. The class is progressive, so there will be no drop-ins once classes begin.
POWER COMBO High energy cardio step class includes intense power, rhythm and travel moves…to challenge all fitness enthusiasts.
TAE-BOX Non-contact martial arts based fitness class combining upper and lower body strengthening punches and kicks.
TOTAL BODY CONDITIONING Overall total body training class works on cardio endurance, muscle strength and ends with flexibility.
SCULPTING Exercise designed for the "seriously minded & want to be challenged" focusing on both muscles and bones. Classes may include toning, firming, and flexibility, performed with or without weights/resistance for the purpose of improving muscles and bone density.
BOSU Balance, Strength, cardio and core conditioning make this class an overall body workout.
TAI CHI Tai Chi is a moving meditation, with far reaching benefits. The slow, soft movements have a real effect on blood pressure, weight control, and other physical aspects.
ZUMBA! A fusion of Latin and International Music themes that create a dynamic, exciting effective fitness workout. A conbination of fast and slow rhythms tone and sculpt the body and burn calories the fun way! Zumba Plus includes a segment of resistance training!
CYCLING An instructor lead challenging workout that will guide you up hills, through trails and racing over a flat road. Give it a try!
YOGA STRETCH YogaStretch will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and a final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
STEP & KICK A Combination of basic step & kick boxingcombined with strength training and abs.
SILVER SNEAKERS® Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises deigned to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
