The place to be this summer is YMCA Summer Day Camp! Open to children K-12-years old, Summer Day Camp is a great option for parents looking for safe, reliable supervision for their child and kids looking to make new friends, enjoy new experiences and just have fun.
Day Camp offers age-appropriate activities including field trips, games, daily swimming, crafts, fitness, rock climbing and much more. Weekly themes keep things fresh and field trips offer something new every week. Join our qualified staff and enjoy a fun filled, action packed summer at the YMCA' s Summer Day Camp.
Kinder Kamp is also available through our Genesee & Wyoming branches. This program is for children ages 3-5, who have not completed Kindergarten. This program is the ideal introduction for preschoolers to the Day Camp experience. The young campers engage in outdoor play, arts & crafts, story time, singing and weekly swim lessons. Our young campers will expereince everything the YMCA has to offer including the pool, Kids' Gym and our Bounce House!
YMCA summer programs provide more than just a safe, fun place to be. Day Camp & Kinder Kamp, like all YMCA youth programs, are founded on the YMCA's four core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.
Character development gives focus to everything we do at the YMCA and at our summer programs. Our staff accepts the challenge to teach the Y's core values first and foremost as they lead by example in their own attitude and behavior. At the YMCA, Character Development is not something we do; it's who we are!
Program Overview
- Safe and structured environment with caring and professionally trained staff
- Open to children 3-12 years of age
- Day Camp operates Monday through Friday 7:45am-5:15pm. Extra hours are available 7:00am-7:45am and 5:15pm-6:00pm
- Kinder Kamp operates Monday through Friday 8:00am-4:00pm, with half day options available.
- The program is permitted through the New York State Department of Health and meets or exceeds all state standards for Day Camps.
- Financial Assistance is available through the YMCA Scholarship program and the Department of Social Services
